The character of Cole is somewhat relatable and gains your sympathies due to the fact he was in the war and suffers for it. The animation is realistic and fits the time period and makes the experience believable.

            The game makes the audience more interactive by offering different options to choose from that affect the gameplay. It also makes you survey the crime scene in several different ways.

            The key feature of the game is the interrogative nature of the cases, and the amount of things you have to do to advance. Rather than doing nothing in each case, you’re encouraged to find all the clues and get all the question right to advance along the right path. The facial animations are also a key feature of the game, being something that is integral to gameplay.

             The game uses media convergence a lot. One particular in game convergence is that of the in game radio which uses licenced music in a game setting. There are also in game cinematics modified to look like older film reels.

What are the possible future developments of the game?
            In the sequel to LA Noire (if there is one) the facial capture technology will be extended to the whole body, so that not just their face will be used to indicate discomfort. It will also make the bodies not look detached from the faces as they do now (because of the bodies being animated and rendered separately from the motion captured faces.
